About Mr Samer Morgan
Mr Morgan is highly qualified, holding MB, BCh, MRCS, MSc, and FRCS (Tr&Orth). He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Trauma & Orthopaedics and currently works as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. In addition, he practises privately at Spire Cheshire Hospital.
Clinical, Research and Medico-Legal Expertise
Mr Morgan works within one of the North West’s busiest trauma units. As a core member of the general trauma on-call team, he provides 24-hour trauma cover and manages a high volume of emergency cases. His clinical practice encompasses all aspects of orthopaedic trauma, including upper and lower limb injuries, complex peri-articular fractures, and post-traumatic reconstruction.

Expert Witness & Report Preparation Experience
Mr Morgan has been preparing expert medico-legal reports for over 15 years, with experience across personal injury, clinical negligence, employer’s liability and public liability matters.

His medico-legal practice reflects his substantive consultant role within a Major Trauma Centre, with particular focus on orthopaedic trauma, fracture management and functional prognosis.

He prepares a full range of medico-legal reports, including screening • breach of duty • causation • condition and prognosis • combined reports (covering breach, causation, and condition/prognosis).

His reports are evidence based and clinically focused, reflecting his day-to-day consultant practice within a major trauma setting.
Consulting Venues
Mr Morgan offers appointments across the UK, including Birmingham, Blackburn, Bolton, Bradford, Bristol, Carlisle, Coventry, Doncaster, Exeter (Devon), Lancaster, Leeds, London (Harley Street and Barking), Luton, Manchester, Plymouth (Devon), Preston, Rainhill, Sheffield, St Helens, Warrington and Wigan.
Mr Morgan also undertakes home visits and prison visits where appropriate, and remote assessments are available on request.
Payment Terms
Our standard payment terms are 90 days from the date of invoice. However, we understand the funding structures within medico-legal work and are able to agree extended payment arrangements, where appropriate, subject to written agreement at the point of instruction and internal compliance checks. Extended arrangements may be agreed for up to 36 months depending on the nature of the matter and the instructing firm.
Turn Around Times
Mr Morgan aims to provide reports promptly and efficiently. Typical turnaround times are: 10–14 working days for standard cases • 14–21 working days for complex cases • 5–10 working days for urgent cases.
